A Brighter Weekend For Billie

Here is another awesome picture of Billie from Zoolarity. Than you Anne! :)

Billie has been doing so well. In fact this morning she has been eating like a piggy (2 breakfasts +snacks!) playing with a toy mouse and having some nip.
Last Saturday she was hiding under the sofa and I was trying to get her to drink some water and eat a bit without much luck. I'm just so relieved!
I have replaced her Temptations with dry Iams salmon and rice. I know, big deal, they get that in their bowl... Billie is not fooled, but she is going along with it. She's my good girl. Cricket ,I'm sure will be complaining soon. ;)

It's another Saturday of grocery shopping. Ick! I do not do well in crowds. I swear I absorb everyone else's negative emotions. Believe me, there's lots of cranky people at the grocery store.

I haven't been sleeping well and it's catching up with me. I feel like I'm just having too many "duh" moments. I'm going back on my stronger pain reliever and anti-inflamitory meds. I'm also back on the stomach acid reducers. Can't have one without the other I guess.

I hope you all are having a much more fun and interesting weekend. (unless of course you like grocery shopping...) I'm going to hit up the coffee carafe again and I see Cody giving me the "I want a snack look." Oh, right on time, here's Naughty Noodle too! :)

Love and Hugs to You!

Get some of that fresh Michigan asparagus when you're at the store!
Lovely!

Glad Billie is doing better!
Dr Fosters & Smith has some 100% fish treats for cats that some of our friends who are 'lergic to grains use.
Chloe liked the Tuna Flakes (she inhaled them like a vacuum cleaner!) but other kitties in the 'sphere like the shrimp puffs.
Worth a try!

love ya,
mo

I am glad Billie is doing well. I think my mom might try to limit our Temptatations.....I think she thinks PooPoo's poop is getting sticky from Temptations!
We are so picky at my house that we only like Fancy Feast for dry food as well as FF for stinky goodness too.
My mom has to grocery shop too but she may put it off till the morning because it is so hot here already and it is only 12pm!
Have a good weekend!

Did I tell you that we are laying off the Temptations until I get my next blood test back? I had an extremely high amylase reading and nobody knows what it is from. The vet gave me some treats called "Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Treats." They are little star shaped things. I love 'em.

We're glad Billie is doing so well. It has gotta be a bummer though to be allergik to Temptations. :-(

We're not sure of the ingredients, but Feline Greenies or Whisker Lickins might be worth checking out for a treat. Most of us like most of at least some flavors of these, and they're pretty easy to find.

Indeed isn't it a much better weekend for you all than last one! I do hope you were able to rest a little and not just rush about shopping in crowded stores full of cranky people! That is not fun at all.
Mommy did get the garden shed all cleaned out and up...today we took all the stuff to Goodwill after Lapdaddies matinee performance. The they went to the directors house for some nice refreshments and a get together. Mommy made elcair cake:)
Well today I am going to be all alone as they are off to Portland again for a check up. So I will be sleeping on my pillow in the office or if it is sunny I might go out on the patio and just wait for them to come home. Today it was nice and sunny but windy...ick!
I wish you a wonderful restful day...much love as always from your adoring Miss Peach
