Time For A Vacation

I feel like Vera the mouse today. My house is like her messy nest and I just don't know where to start. I can't go outside to escape it either. We are having another round of snow and cold. I'm ready to pack up the kitties and go as far south as possible. * -*
At least my daughter's physics project is finally out of the living room! It's a pop cicle stick bridge and to get full points it's supposed to hold 100 pounds. We didn't dare put that much weight on it. It does however hold a 12 pound cat. Cody. ;) He didn't seem impressed. I should have put a trail of Temptations on it for him to follow.
Okay, I've decided where to start; I'll do the dishes because if the kitchen is under control then at least I can function in it. I wish it was warm enough to open the windows. Fresh air just makes everything feel cleaner.c

Now, what would I really rather be doing? Reading blogs,c
urling up with a kitty and reading, watching Food Network, doing crafts, (well if my fingers weren't so sore and bent right now) Oh, I would also like to make a cinnamon struesel coffee cake and visit a book store. In Fantasy Land I would be outside on a warm sunny day planting Pansies and cutting Tulips for a bouquet.
Apparently though Mother Nature thinks otherwise. I don't know what put her in a foul mood toward Michigan, but I really wish she would get over it! Hope the sun finds you today!

My Mommie said sometimes when there are too many things to do at once, she feels paralyzed! Because it is hard to know where to start. I hope you get some time to relax, too.

People are very hard to find a way relax. Maybe because they can't focus only one thing at one time.
My beans also still finding ways to relax, even she has weekend, maybe this is because she wants to keep me, when I cuddle with her, it's the reminder of relax.

Good luck~!!! Thanks for so sweet and warm words for my comments again. Thank you~!!

My mom gets overwhelmed a lot with work and other things, and now with my blogs too!
Take some time to relax. Oh, well, maybe after you make that cinnamon coffee cake!
Purrs to you from all of us!

Oh dear Lorianna! I understand how you feel. I could get so much more done if Miss Peach were not so insistant about being in my lap most of her waking time. She has an ear infection right now and hate the meds i drop in it. They soothe and I put some ointment on her raw red scratchies on her head. I have bathed her and clipped her nails short to help. She is a bit frantic with her behavior right now jumping all about and doing things she knows not to. I have got her to settle down in her box right next to me and covered her in her fuzzy blue blanket. She is non stop cleaning herself right now. Maybe she should come over there and help you whip your place into shape!
Gosh I hope Spring comes soon for you before you lose your mind...
Much love and soft hugs, Karla & Miss Peachy

How many 12 pound cats will a bridge hold if a 12 pound cat jumps on it 12 times? Yes, that's a lame comment, but I saw some sort of wasp in here and now I can't find it. Death hovers in a sunny windowsill. AARRRGGGH...

I am typing this with a rolled up newspaper and a bottle of Benedryl at the ready.

Hope you're getting some sun today (Wednesday)! Sip some tea, snuggle with the kitties and may the rays of the sun warm your soul.

Hey you in Michigan.I am always so happy when you visit.
You are a great new friend.
We have relatives in the UP and one in Lansing (hubbys side)

Make a list and do one thing on it, save the rest for tomorrow. Eat a cookie between each accomplished task.

purrrs and hugs from Prinnie and Rosemary

At least you're getting something done! I've been on vacation for a week and a half. We got laundry done (mostly) but it's not all put away yet. We are managing to keep up with dishes, but various kids stuff and projects are on our kitchen table. Take a break, don't get overwhelmed. Believe me, I keep telling myself that every day lately!!!
