Yay, The Long Weekend Is Over!

Look what Zoolalatry made for us! Isn't it lovely? I am so impressed with such artistic talent. I'm lucky if I can post a picture. :)

Billie is completely recovered! Before I tossed the last Temptations bag I gave it one final sniff to be sure. Now, Billie's um, odor is fading and she is in the process of a very careful snipping and combing process, but there is no mistaking the smell. She is very allergic to Temptations. I don't even dare give them to Cricket and Cody. Plus, it wouldn't be fair for them to have the treats and not her.

I don't mean to bash Temptations at all. There are many kitties that digest them just fine. But, like people there are many pets that develop food allergies. Billie just could not digest them and that's why she reeked of them when she was sick. I'm thinking that's kind of a tip off for anyone who has a food allergy. (Gross, but true.)

Once again, I can't thank everyone enough for their purrs and prayers. I was sick with worry and knowing that there were so many thinking of Billie helped me so much! I don't do well under stress. I mean, I can do what needs to be done and I love being a caretaker, but after all is settled I'm usually a big ball of worries and what ifs for quite a while.

I'm just really hoping this was the last bit of trouble. Not just for me and my kitties, but for everyone and their fur babies. Let's purr and pray for health and happiness for all!

You are all in my heart. =^ . .^= <3

P.S. Please don't tell my mom that Temptations might not be good for us. Our vet already told mom it is junk food for cats!

China Cat & I are so glad to hear that Billie is better, even though she can't have any more Temptations!

Thank goodness Billie is all better! And especially that it was a simple solution. I am on a (I hope) temporary hiatus from Temptations due to a problem with a really elevated amylase level. I will find out in June if everything is okay again. Do not worry, I feel fine!

We're so happy to hear the really great news about Billie being well! On the other hand, we're all a little stressed that a Temptations allergy has been confirmed. We think, though it hasn't been proven yet, that Temptations may be the cause of Cocoa's itchy-scratchies. Also, today Rascal has been eating nothing, drinking only a little water, and throwing up (the water). There's also been something mushy in the litter box, but with 5 of us it's hard to determine who did it. When offered Temptations, to try and get his appetite going, he refused them. That's never happened. Now the Lady is planning to take the Temptations away from ALL 5 OF US! Just to see what happens. We're not very happy about that at all. ::pout:: But we're VERY happy that Billie is feeling well and the picture is gorgeous!
purrrrs!

Yes, Zoolatry makes lovely graphics.

We're so glad you figured out what the problem is with Billie. It's very scary for a human when one of us is sick.

billie is a beautyful kitty, an' we hopes you has many, many long years togefur!

My dearest Billie and Lorianna! Forgive me for not being here yesterday...I had company all day into the night. Plus we watched the Red Sox~Mariners game!
I must tell you that you deserve an award for sleuthing! You saved Miss Billie from the tasty but oh so dreaded Temptations! It seems that you might have helped lots of other kitties in a way also by alerting them to the possiBILLIEty that they might be the cause of some of their tummy ouchies! (Like chocolate is if you eat too much right mommy?)
Mommy is happy because she found a foxglove blooming in her garden yesterday from the seeds she planted last summer!! YEAH! I know that tiny fairies live inside of the pretty blossoms!
I am wishing you a wonderful day and I also wish I could have been there with you at Sage & Roses shop! I love pretty, frilly good smelly stores...or old book stores or antique shops that have that old lavendar smell from grandmas house!
Love Karla & Miss Peach
