Hello From Me And Mr. C !

Cody is feeling so much better! The swelling in his eyes has reduced a lot and they are not runny anymore. He was rough housing with Cricket this morning, irritating her as usual. (I think she likes it more than she's willing to let on.)

This past weekend was too busy with grocery shopping and returning clothes that my daughter decided that she didn't want and finding clothes that she did. * -* When we decided to go to the bookstore every one's mood improved.

This week I have to bake a birthday cake for my husband and daughter. They share the same birthday and it's on Saturday. :) Mine is tomorrow, but I am trying not to think about it. I am kind of hoping that they do remember Mother's Day this year though.
I think to not make house cleaning so overwhelming I will just concentrate on one room a day, giving it a really thorough cleaning. That way by the weekend the house should be in pretty good shape. Too bad I can't get the cats to pick up their cat toys when they are done playing with them.
One early morning, my husband walked through the dark living room and stepped on a mouse that squeaks when it's moved. It scared him for a second until he realized what it was. :)
Mondays can be rather blah and daunting when you think of everything that you have to do for the week. I will make time during the day to visit my blogging friends and that , will as usual cheer me up. I will try not to over do it with the cleaning and baking. I don't want to end up with another round of fevers again! Not a fun way to spend a spring day.
Have a happy early May day!

I am so glad Cody is doing better. Rough-housing can be so much fun but much better when not ill.
My mom says can you come over and help us clean up too? We have our toys permanently spread all over the family room. Mom gets too tired to pick them up, and then we have to go looking for them.
My mom hates Mondays and has to go to L.A. for one day tonight so we will be alone. Can Cody, Cricket and Billie teleport over to my house to play tonight?

Thank goodness Cody's eyes are getting better! I think you are smart to just do a little cleaning at a time. Your health is more important than cleaning. Happy Almost Your Birthday!

Cleaning is never more important than taking good care of yourself.
It is always good to break it up into small tasks. Mom always makes a list of everything she must do... then decides what is most important... that is why the dining room still looks very cluttery haha and the basement, maybe next month.

I am so happy that Cody is improving!

Happy HAPPY Birthdays to all three of you! cake is yummy, enjoy it.
YES Mother's day is next week-end and May is the perfect month for Birthdays!

purrs and hugs from me <3

Sounds like you have a busy week. I just don't know how humans can get by on less than 20 hours of sleep a day. Can you arrange to send some of that cake my way?

Dearest Lorianna! I am so glad you liked the photo with the 'heart's ease' as they were also called in Victorian days. They are all little volunteers and I am so glad they are happy in my garden. I have picked a bouquet for your birthday sweet lady...come and smell:) I do hope you have alovely day with not too much cleaning. You are spot on in only doing a room at a time!
Today we are off to Portland for Lapdaddies doctor visit to make sure all is still going well. It will be a long day with lots of hours of driving:( I would rather spend the time visiting my friends as they must think me aloof for not returning their visits promptly.
Mommy went outside today and did some gardening...this is good for her blue feeling on Monday's.
Have a most wonderful day knowing that you are very precious to our hearts...We love your genteel spirit
Your Miss Peach & Karla

Thank goodness, or Goddess, Cody is better!

Bookstores are great! Okay, they're better when my books are in them. I get a charge out of that.

Gosh it was a long day and I am off to bed now. I even had a chance to write some postcards out on the trip:)
See you in the morning...hope you had a wonderful day today Lorianna. Wish we could have had tea and a nice slice of cake to honor you today...
