Moody Monday

Cricket is sad. It has become very cold here and we are getting ss...snow. :(
She knows that the windows will not be open now until at least May.
As I'm typing this she has gone upstairs to bed. I don't blame her.

I got the new Mrs. Murphy mystery this weekend. It will be nice to curl up with. I also received the pin I bid on in Miss Peach's auction to help some kitties in need. I wish I could have taken a better picture. It is a momma cat and kitten hand made by Mommy Karla. She is so talented! I'm in awe of what she can create. I bet you can see a better picture of it on her blog.

My doctor has me on higher doses of Prednisone. My scalp tenderness is due to vascular inflamation. I forget RA can cause inflamation in areas besides the joints until I get something weird going on like this. I have had rib cage pain, skin rashes, ear joint pain, and eye infamation. Yeesh! I think I'm going to be on that darn Pred forever!
My fingers are pretty much stuck. I can go on another disease modifyer, but there's no undoing the damage all ready done. I just need to learn how to work with them the way they are. I do not want to give up crafting and gardening and typing. I will just need to take more breaks to rest them I guess.
I know there are people with worse problems than this. The Taylor Catsssss Mommy needs serious surgergy. She's bed ridden! I feel so badly for her...

So, that's what's going on. I look forward to visitning my blogging friends this week. Yes, I will try to rest my fingers. To be honest they are hurting a bit right now, but I'm so stubborn! :)

My kitties and I send you Love!

Snow? WOW!! We finally got the sun today. After lunch it got cloudy again and cold!!!!!
I am sorry you are having trouble with your RA :( Does it settle down some? It would not be fun if you stopped crafting and other fun things.
I'll send you some purrs. Maybe they will help.

Dearest Lorianna! Thank you for the green paper that came today and the cute sticky kitties! YEAH I will play with them. The printed images are so nice...thank you for getting them to me also. Gosh I wish we could figure out how to make this into a rubber stamp! I just love this peaceful scene!
I hope you enjoy the pin and the teas I sent...just right for chilly early snowy weather. I am sure the snow will not stay for long on your ground...it is too early for that right?
We got Hunny Bunny all ear medded up tonight and she was such a good girl....I just love her! He white fur is whistle clean all the time! For an outside cat, that is amazing...
I am always thinking about you and do wish your health would allow you some steady comfort in your hands... I have a hot wax bath that feels wonderful...do you have one of those things? It is hard being a woman at times...we have so much to do each day that is also expected of us. You are right when you say there are others who have it much worse...so very right. We still find time to count our many blessings inspite of all our grumbles...
You are a blessing in my life....love Karla & Miss Peach
PS: Thank you for your nice email today.

Snow?!? We are lucky if we see snow once a year and that's usually in February.

I am so sorry that your hands are hurting so bad. My mom was on prednisone when she hurt her back and she can't imagine being on it all the time. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Sorry you're aching. Sending gentle hugs. I don't blame your cat either. I could easily hibernate till May :)

Sorry to hear about your hands. If you are like many I suppose the cold wheather doesn't help any...

I know you do not enjoy the cold, but I think I would like it for a little while, because snuggling sounds very nice and cozy.

Curling up with a good book and good cats sounds like a wonderful thing to do. I hope your symptoms will go away!
