Halloween Crash

Isn't our Jack o lantern cute? We used a stencil, traced it and carved it. We put it between two lanterns that we keep on our front porch.

We didn't have a huge amount of trick or treaters, but the ones that came were cute little ones. Cody and Toeshee were a little scared. Billie bravely rested in the living room and did not hide once. Toeshee exhausted himself running in and out from under the sofa. Finally, while bathing his tummy he crashed. That's how he fell asleep; his upper body slumped over his big floofy tail.
Cricket who would have looked cool sitting in the front window, chose to stay up in my room.
The weekend here was very quiet. Chores and napping. It will be warm here for a few days so I'm going to check in on my garden and say goodnight to my plants until Spring.
I will try to check in with all of my blogging friends too. :)

You made a very wonderful jack 'o lantern! We only got 4 kids all night. Harley was very excited and ran to the door with his tail held high!

Harley has had a second recurrence of eosinophilic granuloma ("rodent ulcer") on his mouth. He got another steroid injection, and to be safe, he was re-tested for feline leukemia. We are waiting anxiously for his test result today.

Toshee what a cute picture!!!!!
Unseasonably warm here too, new records for the last 2-3 days. Cooler today, but still nearly 60, but rain is forecast. The Calico Girls sent it our way.
Your pumpkin looks awesome!

That is a great Jack-o-lantrn!

Mom didn't really stay home for all of the sticky beans. We live in a neighborhood where HUNDREDS of kids come through and she said she just couldn't afford all of the treats! Besides, she has to spend her green papers on my treats!

Oh what a beautiful spooky Jack O Lantern you made for your front porch!! it is really artisitic. We didn't carve ours but have two setting by the front door. Mommy is a bit dyslexic and thought the sale sign meant 4 for $2, but it was 2 for $4....oh well they look nice anyway!
I had your Lady Grey tea last night...how delightful. It is my favorite! I wish I could have had it with you sitting beside me as we stamp away....
