Window Wars

Window Wars

Hi, it's me Miss Billie again with a some funny and silly things to report.

It was warmer this morning and I found a nice cool spot on the glass topped coffee table to rest. I then watched Cricket and Toeshee compete for the only window that opens easily in the living room. (Cody went upstairs to find a window because he does not like to fight.)

It's hard to say who won window wars. Cricket jumped in it first, but she didn't stay long. Then Toeshee hopped in, but he wanted Nom noms, so he left too. Doesn't he have big feet?

Cricket will say she won. She knows how to get her way with a hiss and a thwap. I will go along with that because us girls must stick together.

Now, all is quiet. Momma will do some visiting and try to figure out a way to avoid making dinner. (don't tell anyone, it's her secret with me. She hates making dinner!)

We hope you all have a happy last week of July.

Hugs and Purrs~

We don't have that many window wars at our house. There's about 11 windows that we can sit in and with 3 of us, we usually try to stay out of eachother's fur. Plus, we have a sliding glass door, that we do try to hog for ourselves. Hope the Dinner Fairy comes to your house so yer Mom doesn't have to cook. (Our mom LOVES to cook, and she always gives us little noms of what she's making!) Shhhh, don't tell our dad, he always yells at her for doing that!

My Mommie does not like cooking at all! She mostly just uses the microwave.

Window wars must be a never ending battle!
Our mom doesn't "cook" much either. Mostly she just thaws and zaps.

I have lots of windows, but mom won't open them because the screens aren't secure!

Ahhh... under-chin tickles to you all! I hope your Ma is feeling better, I understand she had a bad tummy :(

btw, we buy those 'kneeler pads' that gardeners use and place them along the windowsill for the mogs. It means they have a nice cushion and don't have to lie on a hard windowsill. They are just the right size :)

Dearest Lorianna,
What a lovely surprise to see you popped in to visit Nocturne and the Tea Rat! Isn't he grand? You are a friend of the lovely Miss Peach? How nice...she is a darling feline. The Tea Rat is very fond of her and is so excited to accompany his dream girl, Miss Moussie to the wedding! Miss Moussie is a free-wheeling kind of gal; she doesn't want to be tied down, but the Tea Rat would just about give his right paw to have her hand in marriage!! What are you wearing to the wedding? I can't wait to see you all! Please do visit Castles Crowns and Cottages, my other blog; cats are welcome and deserve a crown!! Blessings, Anita

Dearest Lorianna,
Thank you for your visit! Oh how wonderful...you must have lavender at hand to be able to just pick it! That is the one thing that my sweet garden is missing! Do your kittys love the lavender? We are able to grow catnip and catmint here in Minneapolis and the cats are in their heaven!! In a couple of posts, I will feature some pictures that my husband took while he was in Africa; HE PETTED BABY LIONS! They are the cutest thing I have ever seen. Take care! Anita

Oh that is so funny that they both wanted the window and when they got it then they didn't want it any more. That is typical of a lot of fights! We have some window wars sometimes, but we also have patio door wars downstairs because our first floor has no windows, only the patio doors. You would think they would be big enough for more than one cat!

Tell your mom we won't tell that she is trying to get out of making dinner. I love to make dinner but most nights i am just too tired - luckily I can usually convince my boyfriend to pick something up.
Ok Barney is attacking the keyboard now so if any of this doesn't make sense it is because when he jumps up it sometimes deletes stuff - usually the whole post. Since the post is still here I am hoping nothing is missing from it!
