Kitties and Catch Up

Toeshee can't help himself!

Mr. Cody?

What? Can't you see I'm trying to nap?

Why does this tree look real, but taste like plastic?

Because it's not real and it is plastic. You're not supposed to be chewing on it anyway. Every time you do, you get a squirt from the squirt bottle. Which, honestly, I think is hilarious!

Hey! That's not funny!

Hi, Lorianna here. It's been pretty quiet here with random bouts of naughtiness. Oh! I just looked out the window. Snow! Ick! I am not a fan of winter. The sun is out, so maybe it won't last.

We are feeling a bit low this season. My husband's dad has found out he has bladder cancer. He is very tough though and has pulled through both lung and colon cancer a few years ago.
Money is a wee bit tight now. My daughter's tuition bill has arrived and it will take a huge bite out of our bank account. Christmas should be interesting...

But, we must take each day as at it comes and try to enjoy the little things. That's why I'm so grateful for my kitties. They certainly can take one's mind off troubles with their cuteness.
The other night my husband picked up Toeshee and held him like a baby and Toeshee fell asleep in his arms! It was so precious; a twenty pound furry baby! :) My husband said, "I need to go to bed, but I don't want to put him down!"

Today I am keeping Misses Peach in my thoughts as she is not feeling well.
I am also keeping Sweet Praline's Mommy Paula in my thoughts because she has shoulder surgery tomorrow. Lots of Love and Purrs to them!

It's December all ready... My countdown to Spring starts now!

Have a happy rest of the week!

You kitties are furry funny! We're probably going to put the nibble on our tree when our beans GET ONE! Last year, King was covered in sap on his face (we get a real tree) Mom says it was such a b*tch to clean off, but he sure smelled like Christmas! We are purraying that your Dad's Dad beats this nasty C~word too! We know he can do it!!! And we are purraying for Miss Peach and Praline's mom!

We haven't got our tree up yet - I am curious what the reaction is going to be because it is a white one - kind of real looking but because of color kind of not. I love the little kitty convo at the top because it is so like something that would happen at our house too.

We are purring and praying that everything goes well for your husband's dad - my mom had bladder cancer and it was the one they were actually able to treat very easily and get rid of - I hope the same happens for him.

And we are totally with you on the money thing - between the big unexpected expenses this year and, well, my sick addiction to Christmas lights, things are a bit tight at the moment. I am pretty low this season myself - the thing that picks me up is all the beautiful lights and decorations up now. I highly recommend a trip around town to check them out - bring some hot cocoa and just drive for a bit if you have a lot of decorated homes - it can really perk you up!

We are purring for Misses Peach - we are quite worried about her. We didn't know about Praline's mom (we haven't gotten over there yet) but will be stopping by to send her some good wishes.

I haven't even really thought about putting up the tree yet. I wonder how Herman would react to it. It's really small and I don't even think I remember exactly where it is. I hope that your Dad's Dad beats this cancer as well. Herman is sending him his best healing purrs.

HI Lorianna,
Sorry we have not been around. Mom is still working reeally hard.
We did get snow but it did not stick, but CB was super excited about it.
We are sorry to hear about your husband's dad, and we will purray for him.
*blush* Toeshee is 20 pounds? What a large manly mancat! I am only 7 pounds. *blush*
We will purr for Miss Peach and Praline's mom too.
