Catch Up With Billie

Fun Party to break up the cloudy days.

Hi everyone, Miss Billie here to post a bit of catching up. First, Happy Birthday to my dear friend Sweet Praline! She is 14 today. I'm 14 too, so we have lots to talk about; fussy tummies, creaky joints, and cranky moods. Momma says join the club! :)
It has been quite dreary here lately. Just very cloudy and cool. Lots of sneezing and stuffy noses from allergies for Momma and the Teenagergirl.
Us kitties have been napping a lot. Cricket and Toeshee have been battling over the coveted living room window. Whenever he challenges her it turns into quite the standoff. He thinks he has her cornered under the old rocking chair, but Cricket is very fast! With a hiss and a thwap she shows Toeshee who is boss.
I am not a tough girl like her, but Toeshee doesn't usually bother me. I guess I'm not a challenge like Cricket, which is fine with me!

Momma still has the sads. She can't seem to work through them this month. Us kitties keep her company and she loves us all very much. We are glad that she needs us as much as we need her.

We hope you are all having a good month so far and we will try to be better about blogging.
Lots of Hugs!
~Miss Billie~

It was a fun party, I hear....we sent Armani to Praline's slumber party to represent us, since he is the floofiest. He said he had a great time, and this was his first party ever!
Toeshee just needs to learn that he was the last one to your CatHouse, so he has to mind his siblings.
I am the boss here....that is why I get to lie on my blue blankie on mom's desk and nobody else can lie on it. hee hee
Sure hope you start feeling better soon. My mom is sad that summer is over and it is starting to get colder.

Always gotta lettem know who's boss! We really don't have a "boss" at our house, I guess we each are in our own little areas. Praline's party is a BLAST!!! We're ALL there and the food is GRRR-8, but the company is SO MUCH BETTER!!! We hope your mom's mood brightens up! We're sending her "cheery" purrs!!! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Miss Bille, we hope you have fun at the party! Tell your mom not to worry about being better about blogging - having the sads is very hard. Just be sure that you and the rest of the kitties take good care of her, and tell her we are all hoping that she feels better soon.

Holy cow, is that an entire box of treats!!!!???!!!!
Go Cricket! Show that dumb boy cat who's actually in charge! Good thwapping!
It is hard to have the sads. Our mom still gets them some days in spite of taking medicine for them. This time of year is hard, because the seasons are turning, it's dark earlier and the prospect of winter is looming large. We are keeping her in out thoughts.

Pee Ess: Thanks for your nice words for our Dad. He's improving a bit every day.
Mom is real tired all day long. She isn't sleeping well because she listens for him to call if he needs her (he's sleeping on a bed in the family room with the tv). And she goes to bed when he does - 9:00 usually, even though she really wants quiet personal alone time to read, she's just too tired!

I am so glad you could make the slumber party. I received my birthday package today (purrfect timing!) and mom got her White Chocolate Reeses. Thank you so much. I can't believe you got the package her exactly on my birthday!

Well dear Lorianna didn't you time the package to Sweet Praline purrrrfectly! You are an angel like that you know.
I have missed you so much too and thank you for your nice email while we were in Alaska. Oh
it is good to be home agin.
Peachy is just fine...she got a bath today.
I am gathering your package items together slowly...the ATC's are finished and I hope you will like them. I am frightfully slow these days because like you, I have the sads too. Monday I have a doctors appointment for them. Our backs are still a bit sore from sleeping bad in the ships bed...oh well the trip was wonderful anyway!
You are such a precious friend Lorianna and I wish I could just hug you gently and whisk you away for a week at the ocean. I love to dream and promise to make your package worth the long wait...
love always Miss Peach and Karla
