Cricket Updates the Blog

Cricket Gives an Update

Hi everyone. I am blogging today for Momma. She has been feeling really icky since Friday and is finally out of bed for longer than an hour today. Her whole body hurts and she just wants to sleep. I keep her company of course.
She makes sure to feed us and pet us and just make sure we are okay. Us kitties are her reason for getting up.
She misses visiting her blogging friends and posting about how wonderful we are. (
Me being the most wonderful of course.)
She is hoping that if she can just get enough rest this weekend things will be back to normal. It would be nice if the Daddyman and the Teenagergirl would help a bit, but I'm not holding my breath. You wouldn't believe how nasty my upstairs litter box got before the Daddyman would change it! And that was only after Momma begged him to because she couldn't lift the heavy bag of Tidy Cat.
So anyway, Momma is going to give me my lunch now and get some rest before she has to make dinner. I think she should order pizza. ;)
Momma seems sad to me and I hope she feels better soon. Don't worry though; me and Billie will look after her. The two boys are, in my opinion not very good at nurturing. I'm an excellent nurse!
Take care everyone. We send you big hugs.

Oh Lorianna! My heart breaks knowing you are so sore. As if life was not hard enought under normal times with this bad economy and just getting through the days...here you are so racked with pain we can not even imagine that. I wish I could come and scoop your box and help you with housekeeping. I would do it in a heart beat. I watch a program, Little People Big World, and wonder why those spoiled rotten kids who have every opportunity in the world afforded to them and they do not lift a finger to help around the house. I would have killed for such parents. I hope your familt realizes just how lucky they are to have you and begin to be helpful. You simply can not do this all by yourself. You need some help!
Miss Peach is her usual annoying self sitting on that cable box until her tummy is burned and her toe pads are bleeding! I am at wits end with this. Dennis needs to hurry and finish that TV cabinet he is building so we can hide that box inside of it again. Spring will soon be here and that always is welcome with so many people...not me because that brings on my depression real bad. It is reverse seasonal disorder...most people do not understand that...shake their heads. We each have our little paths to wander down...wish I could wander with you...and Helena!
You are always in my thoughts....always in my heart.
All my love, Karla & Miss Peach the naughty.

Poor Lorianna! My mom says she has so much empathy for you and your pain, both physical and emotional. Thank you for taking the time to drop by and say hello to me when you are hurting so much. Hugs and purrs from Sweet Praline and Mom Paula.

Lorianna, I feel such sympathy for you. I have had a small taste of what it's like to hurt all the time and it's horrible. I really hope that your husband and child give you some help around the house. Cricket, you and Billie purr on your Mommy lots.

Cricket we are so glad you are taking care of your momma!
We are sorry that your dad & girl are such oafs that they won't help when they know Lorianna is in pain.
