Hey, Momma, Turn On The Heat!

Well, it's the 1st of October and we are cold. Cricket is upstairs sleeping in the bed. Billie is trying to curl up on my lap as I type and Toeshee is actually resting. Cody is sleeping on the enclosed porch, avoiding Toeshee.

Nothing much is going on. I need to do some cleaning, :( figure out what to do for dinner, and pick up some things at the store. None of that sounds fun.
I want to turn on the furnace so my fingers can warm up and my joints can loosen up a bit. We are trying to put off turning on the heat to save some money, but I'm so uncomfortable! Maybe just for a little bit? Must be nice to be floofy, Billie. :)

My daughter has a sinus infection from her head cold. She's on an antibiotic and hopefully will feel better soon.

I hope to take some new pictures soon. It seems like the kitties are only acting silly or cute when my camera is unavailable. (stinkers!)

I'm thinking of buying something naughty to eat when I go to the store. I really want something sweet to have with a cup of tea. I have lost a little weight, so it's ok, right? Yup, I will turn on the heat, have something yummy with a cup of tea and think of it as a reward for cooking and cleaning. ;)
Of course, I can't do anything until Billie gets off of my lap. Um, Billie...
Never mind, she's snoring.
Have a Happy Day!

Sometimes I wish Praline would sleep on my lap, but she has never been a lap kitty. However, I guess if she was, I wouldn't have the freedom to move around a lot. On second thought, that might be pretty good!

Sometimes I really wish it would get cold here so I could snuggle with my Mommie and a nice blankie. When I try to sit too close to her, sometimes she says "Daisy, it's too hot for you to sleep on my neck!"

We are getting colder here, too.
But having cold is not fun.
I like cooler air, but not catching cold. I pray for your daughter, hope her cold going away.

Our heat's been on for about a month.
Set low, just enough to take the chill out of the air, but it won't come on if the house is warmer.

Hello dear Lorianna! It has been so busy since we got home from our trip to ALaska...we all had such a wonderful time. The sun was out each day and that was amazing in itself for this time of year. The time went to fast for us but it is good to be home again. I love autumn so much and today put up the first few cozy touches of the season. I long to get back to stamping this weekend and work on the Secret Santa project of Helenas. Peachy is sleeping out on the patio nice and comfy. The Hunny Bunny shelter is coming along nice too...hubby is a good helper in that department making the swinging door for the house so she can come in and out. The POPP lady gave us this nice dog house and it is perfect! I put a braided rug in it and it fit perfectly...I would live there!
Well Cole is coming home from school so I better fix some tea and bagels for him...he loved having high tea on the ship so this will be like those nice afternoons there. I missed you so amd thought about you each day. Till soon all my love....Karla

That is a lovely photo of Toeshee. How can anything so cute be so mischiveous! Poor Cody, he's like our Sebastian. Sebastian is a large man cat, larger than Dante but he gets really nervous around Dante.

Bilie must have a cute little snore! Her picture is so floofy again. Hope you got something sweet to eat!
Mom saw the poop sign at a store but did not buy it. We have 3 litter boxes...one box per cat, just like at your house.

Sending our best healing purrrrring to both of you.

We're at the part of the year where things go from hot to cool to cold and back again in a matter of days, so we've had the heat on a couple times already.

If you have one, an electric blanket would help warm you up a little bit. (if you look around, some places have something along the lines of an electric shawl or throw that might work even better)
