Billie and the Flooof Thief

Billie and the floof thief

See this purple comb? It steals some of my floof every time Momma uses it on me! She likes it because it is smooth and gentle and she combs me very carefully with it. Momma says the comb is not stealing my floof, I'm just losing a lot because it is late spring. I still do not trust this comb or any other grooming utensil for that matter!
It is not as warm as it should be here. The teenagergirl just came back inside all grumpy because it wasn't warm and sunny enough to sit outside and read.
She complained to Momma for like, five minutes! Momma has a headache now... :)
I am going to spend the rest of the afternoon napping in the blue chair.
I hope everyone is having a happy day! Hugs!
Billie~

(See Praline? It was my turn! Yay!)

Hello kitties and Lorianna, guess what? it is warm in Virginia, too warm for mom. However we know how it is in Michigan... I think you will have a cooler summer this year.
Teenager girls do like to rant a lot. That too shall pass.

I hope all of you are doing well, here things are busy.
Love and purr

Yay! Billie is showing her feisty self and blogging! I've been giving my mom a little harder time lately about my grooming, too. So sorry to hear it's cold up there. I think it's been in the 90s here the past few days.

Oh Lorianna we are sorry it is too cold for you up there...we would love that here in the desert. I dream of autumn and the heat wave has not even properly arrived yet here....oh but we remember the misery from last year. Miss Peach just threw up all of her snacks...the first time in a long time that has happened. Good thing I have a new smaller carpet steamer. It did the job well. SO such a blessing we are grateful for it. Now Peachy is sitting before me soldful meowing I sorry mommy...she is feeling better now after her recovery and is a different kitty in so many positive ways.
We hope that the new medicine is helping you too dear Lorianna...I should be taking my anti axiety pills...but they cost too much so I'd rather eat chocolate instead!!
Does Billie have snarles in her floof? A sewing seam ripper cut right through them like butter. I love that tip...give it a try.
Oh and tell daughter bean to begin getting a life now that she is on her way to adulthood out of school...so many young ones need to appreciate their mommies before it is too late. We are often just the sounding boards for them....sigh...some things never change.
KNow you are loved and cared about deep in the heart of the cozy cottage...

Sorry about your lost floof, Billie, but I think you will feel better for it when it warms up. Your Mommy is just trying to keep you comfortable and prevent nasty hairballs. It isn't as warm as it should be here, either, but it's because we are getting lots of nice rain. I'll take that trade-off.

I wish I could send you some of our warm air, because it is already too hot where I live!

I went to the vet today and my Mommie mentioned that I seem to be having some nearly hairless patches on my coat. He said I was overgrooming, probably from anxiety. I am certain is it because of Harley!

Better watch out for that floof thief. Maybe you could start stockpiling some of your floof for use later?
Have a great day, Billie, you still look very floofy, you know!

We are having the same problem with the temperature here - plus it is rainy. We hope that the sun finally comes out for you and it warms up. I am sure it will happen some time soon!

We are finally warmish now (70) after last week in the 50's with rain.
Lorianna can I ask you about RA? Would you be able to email me back?
I've had stiffness in my hands for about 6 months, general achyness that would come & go. All of a sudden last Friday I woke up and could barely move my hands, I was in terrible pain, lasting 3 days. The pain is still there all this week, but not as intense, but hurts none the less. Mainly at the base of my fingers on both hands and around the middle knuckles. 500 mg aleve is barely touching the pain. I'm not swollen but my hands feel "puffy" and are hard to make fists. It hit so hard, so all of a sudden. Does arthritis do that? It feels god to sit with them in a heating pad, but I can't do that all day. I'm also fumbling things a lot. Typing this is a challenge! Any advice? I can't get into my own doctor till Monday, but I may just end up calling to see if I can see someone else tomorrow. It hurts!!!! Thanks if you can respond. lrgreenwood at comcast.net
