Once In A Blue Moon...

Once In A Blue Moon...

Here are two images we don't see often in our house; Cricket sharing a piece of furniture with another kitty and Toeshee calming down long enough to snuggle. Both of these event had to be photographed so we could remember them with fondness. I'm hopeful that as Toeshee gets older he will be cuddly more often. He's so soft and he has such a nice rumbly rich purr! I'm not sure what possessed Cricket to share the chair with Billie. I'm wondering if she is sensing that Billie is not feeling her best. I am a bit worried because Cricket seems to be very in tune with how others are feeling. As Tookie became worse Cricket would share the bed with her instead of leaving in a huff.
Billie seems about the same, pretty good appetite, normal fluid intake. She did brave the stairs last night to lay down next to me at bed time. She hardly ever does that. Maybe she was cold? My husband says, "don't look for trouble, she's fine for now." She seems ok today. I do tend to worry a lot. But, isn't that what we do with those we love?
I am behind on visiting blogs AGAIN! Where did the week go? That's what I get for getting caught up on house work and too much napping. I will try to get around as many as I can my friends. There are some I haven't visited in quite a while and yet they still pop over to say hi. I feel so bad! Please know I really do like you all very much! :)
Sending Hugs from me and my kitties.

We love the picture of Toeshee snuggling with you. That is adorable! Toeshee will be a cuddly cat in no time! Dante is really good at cuddling with beans, but not with cats. He's bitey all the time, bitey all the time, bitey all the tiiiiiime!!

I am also hoping that Harley will settle down a little when he grows up. He is getting wilder and wilder! But I think it's because he's getting better from his eosinophilic granuloma complex, so we just put up with his craziness.

Don't worry about visiting, just do what you can!

What lovely pictures!!!! I think kitties sense when other kitties are feeling sick or just tired. Cricket realizes Billie is older and seems to know not to bother her :) Maybe Toeshee will settle down as he gets older ;)
We find it hard lately to visit and even to blog! Life is busy and there are so many fine kitties to visit.
We have decided that we will just do what we can and not feel guilty. There are just too many things to be doing :)
No need for you to apologize :)

You are just like my mom, with us. You must keep an eye on Billie though. I sure hope she is ok. She and Misty must stay well. Toeshee might turn into a snuggly cat....just wait and see!

The pictures are great. Maybe some day Toeshee will turn into a snugglebug. I hope that Billie stays well.

Toshee is settling down for you after all. We knew he would make a great snuggle bunny!
Cricket sounds like a very empathetic cat, and we think you are correct, she can sense when something is wrong - most cats do - and respond appropriately, with love and gentleness.

Wow! Toeshee, a cuddle kitty!

I hope Billie is doing okay. It's hard not to worry when our fur children are older, but we must enjoy them while we can.

Look at Toeshee being the lover boy there! That's wonderful to see, he will do more of this I think. We also think that to be as in tune with cats as cats are with each other is a good thing - you know your cats Lorianna, better than anyone. Thanks so much for the message, we are ok and will be posting again soon. Mum has had to catch up on lots of work things since Christmas and we haven't been sticking our claws in her bum to make her post for us - we will remedy this soon!

Big fat purrs to you all

Do not worry about visiting. Mom never feels guilty... well, that is what I think. she just goes on with her jolly life and leaves us here with dad :-P hummmmpfff
This is very sweet these two pictures. You are pretty and so are the kitties. Toeshee is very pretty and floooofy. He does not look naughty. Pierro has this same appearance, total innocence haha riiiight.

I hope all of you have a happy warm-ish week-end. we were going to have snow but they changed the forecast and mom is happy because she is going to her parents (leaving us here with dad, as usual) for her mom's b-day. (dad has a cold so he has to stay home)

<3 and purrs always

Don't worry about visiting us, as we do not visit as many blogs as we would like either, we understand. Those pictures are precious.

Hugs and purrs,

Lovely pictures. I think Toeshee will become a cuddlebun very soon and I agree with what Mickey says in relation both to Cricket and Billie and about visiting. I have so many blogs I love to visit that I can't possibly visit everyone every day, or even every week! I think everyone understands that people get behind but it doesn't mean you don't like them anymore.

It's cold here too - below freezing even in the daytime, but bright and sunny so I love it! The forecast says it's going to change though, to warmer but overcast and windy weather, dagnabbit! :) xxx

I got my package this weekend! Mom has already eaten half of the chocolate reindeer. That was so sweet of you. Mom says she will email you.
