Quiet Time

Quiet time is the best time.

Window gazing, naps, tummy snorgling... (I'm not sure what is up with Toeshee and Billie. They seem to like cuddling together once in a while.)

There's not much going on lately and to me that's a good thing. The weather has been calm and almost Springlike. The cats seem to be feeling well and they and I have the house to ourselves during the day.
My hands are quite sore and I have been using Icy/Hot patches on them. I think I will have to use a soft brace just to keep my left hand stable so the joints can rest. I have had hand pain before, but this is really really uncomfortable. Especially in the large knuckles. I will try to blog and visit as much as I can though. Hopefully this flare up will be on it's way soon. I really need my hands!

I want to wish Daisy The Curly Cat Happy Birthday! She's an Aquarius. :) They are know for being adventurous and curious and a little eccentric. Purrfect qualities for a cat!

I hope everyone has a happy day and that a little Spring finds you. Hugs! <3

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes!

I am surprised to see Toeshee acting so calm and quiet! Maybe he's growing up!

Wow Toeshee cuddling? How fantastic. We are still trying to get Dante to stop biting everyone and everything. I guess it will take longer for us. He's gotten much better though. Hope your hand feels better soon. Our dad was given a brace from his doctor because they said he had carpel tunnel. The brace is helping a bit.

I think Toeshee and Billie are becoming best buddies.

I am so sorry that your hands are hurting. I began wearing a hand brace at night on my right hand when I sleep and it has really helped.

Do you get carpal tunnel syndrome? Mine flares up now and then in my left wrist and it makes my fingers ache and sooo cold.

Or then there is that thing where the fingertips don't get warm. What's that called? The little man who does the filing in my head doesn't keep the same hours as me so I'm afraid I don't know right now :)

I do recommend a brace to hold the hand if it hurts, as then the tendons can relax. Just wearing it for a few days really helps, even if only for a few periods a day. Try to get one that supports the wrist as well, not one that's just hand-sized.

Over here you can get soft covers to go over the hand that have a small heat patch that you slip into a pocket on the top, so that the back of the hand and the knuckles are warmed. If you'd like them and can't get any there, let me know and I'll send you over a box!!!

Don't forget handcream- when the hands are cold it can put us off applying cream because it's cold!! And as a result the skin can suffer and get dry and crack.

Hark at me I'm going all motherry. LOL!!!!

I LOVE that 3rd photo. Oooo I want to go worra worra worra on that tummy and sniff those cheesy toes. Ah go on! Sniff them for me! Are they cheesy?

(Thought so!)

if you wear a brace at night be careful not to punch your beau as you turn over. HAHAHAHAHA been there, done that :)

Yay, Toeshee, keep cuddling, it's the bestest of the best, as I hope you're now discovering:)

Lorianna, I'm not at all surprised you're the High Priestess. I'm not sure, because it's been a long time since I studied tarot as I thought it might be in conflict with my Christian beliefs, but I sense you have qualities which are special. The cats know.

I hope your hands feel better soon. Make sure your human family take care of you and help you! :) xxx

I hope your hands start feeling better soon. That can't be comfortable and sure not easy to blog. :^)
I think Toeshee is so cute snuggling with Billie. Has Toeshee calmed down a bit? Our little Dumplin' is a bit crazy!

What pretty pictures!
We are sorry you struggle so much with your hands. People do so much with them that it must be awful some days to try to cope.
Our mom is an aquarius too. Her birthday was on the 4th. She is far from adventurous though, but she is eccentric & quirky!

We just got your valentine's package today. Thank you so much, and what a beautiful card! With such pain in your hands, it must have been hard to make such a cute card. Thank you for your thoughtfulness! I just don't have time to do Valentine's at all with working so much. JB and Dumplin' are inhaling a lot of nip, and playing with the feather toy...they love it! We will post some pics shortly.
Happy Valentine's Day to you!
