Monday night moon, Billie and bunny

Seed Moon? Feed me Moon?
Or Easter Moon?

Last night I took a picture of the full moon outside my kitchen window. On my calender it's called the Seed Moon. There is usually a full moon just before Easter. Notice the maple tree has not leafed out yet. I think if I looked very closely I might see buds.

For the kitties I call it the "Feed me moon". I stand right at the counter next to that window when I feed them and that what I said last night. Yes, I can be rather odd. :)

Billie is being so cute right now. All late morning and even right now, she is napping next to the little bunny I bought last year. She and I are worried about dear Miss Sweet Praline, who is getting a bump removed from her nose today. We are purring she makes a speedy recovery and is home to cuddle with her mommy tonight.

We are also holding Mis
ses Peach's family in our thoughts. Lapdaddy's brother has passed away and we feel sad for them. We understand how difficult it is to have beloved family members pass on. It leaves a hole in the heart that takes a while to heal over.

This weekend was another blah, do nothing one. I did some paper doll crafting; Alice and a faerie. Other than that, some house work and napping.
I'm still down, still tired.
Oh, our dishwasher finally croaked. And it did not smell good when it did. I actually smelled the motor burning out last night. For a person with a phobia of the house catching fire this was not a good thing! My husband checked it out and determined that it wasn't going to go up in flames. I guess we know where our tax refund is going!

So another week... I will get around to visiting and I hope everyone has a Happy Easter Week! Chocolate bunny's for everyone! And Nip Bunny's for the kitties of course!

Swimming to the surface

Beyond Blue...

Well, it's been quite a while. The only true, wonderful, purely sweet things seems to be my kitties and their antics and love.

My husband's father passed away a couple of weeks ago. It came much faster than anyone expected. The cancer was just beginning to cause him pain, but perhaps mercy visited, as it was his heart that gave out in his sleep.

He had been afraid of suffering and wasting away as his brother had and he missed his beloved sister Grace, who had gone before, just a month ago.
My husband understandably took it hard for a bit, but he is moving on fairly well. He said losing his Mum when he was 16 was much worse.

Even before dad passed I had been struggling with depression. Every day had been harder to get through. I can't seem to pinpoint one thing over the other that has me so emotionally incapacitated. I stay in my pj's most days, only pulling on jeans and a sweatshirt to get some groceries. My husband sometimes drags me out for coffee, but I can't wait to get back home and nap. I have not been able to find a good pain reliever yet, so rest and hot baths and showers are a refuge.

I have three books started and I can't finish any of them. I re read the same paragraphs over and over before tossing them aside. I stare at the tv and not really notice what I'm watching. It's just noise to fill the silence.

I haven't turned on my computer for nearly a month. I've been afraid to blog. What could I say? This. All I have right now is how sad I am. Yay, what fun for you to read!

Now, my fingers hurt again and for what? A sad blog entry...

I know I need to snap out of this. My kitties are all happy and healthy right now and they should be the stars of this blog. Perhaps after some time I will do an overhaul of the blog.

Thank you ALL for being so kind! Karla told me that my friends have been worried and I was very surprised. She said that Spring will come. I just have to hold on to that.

Cricket is now, quite full of herself after saving me. She wants a nurses cap
a paycheck and two weeks paid vacation. We settled on unlimited Fancy Feast in her favourite fishy flavors.

Billie and Cody are doing really well. Billie has taken to sleeping on my bed a lot, so I bring her food up there. Today, she actually came downstairs and is napping on the sofa. Maybe she knows I'm finally blogging.

Toeshee is his usual naughty, sweet little clown self. He loves to chase the cursor on my husbands laptop. Look at his funny, cute little face.

I hope you all aren't mad at me, but I understand if you are. I wish and hope I can swim to the surface of this deep blue pool I have fallen in.

Hugs~

Goodbye Prinnie. Sunbeams forever now.

Sweet Little Lamb Kitty...

I just went online for a bit tonight and found out that Princess has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. She went peacefully and is now with her beloved brother Caesar. Her Mommy Rosemary took such wonderful care of Prinnie. Her devotion touched me greatly.

So far this has been a pretty icky December...
I am so sad about so much.
I'll try to get some cute pictures of my kits up soon and I know visiting blogs will help me feel not so alone. Perhaps later this weekend.
My daughter's tonsilectomy, which was canceled due to her flu is happening Tuesday morning.
Good thoughts would be very welcome.

My thoughts are with a cute lambie-pie white curly kitty and her devoted Mommy.
Sunshine for you always now Prinnie. Enjoy it with Caesar and Tookie.

Sweet Gentle Boy

Please Don't go!
I'll eat you up, I love you so.

~Here in the world there is nothing more than your absence.~

Amy's beautiful kitty Floyd had to go to the Rainbow Bridge. He was loved and still is loved very much by his Mommy Amy.

Whenever I see the commercial for Where the Wild Things Are movie I just can't seem to not cry. When the girl monster tells Max that She'll eat him up she loves him so. She says it in just this broken sad way. When you know you have to say goodbye to someone you love and it hurts so very much.

My thoughts are with Amy and everyone who has lost someone that They Love So.

Hugs to Everyone.

Goodnight My Angel

Goodbye to a very sweet kitty

Hi everyone. It's me Miss Billie here to say goodbye to Sugar, who has passed away to the Rainbow Bridge.
She was very loved by her Mommy Kellykat. My Momma has leaking eyes, just thinking of how much this must hurt. The VET who treated her didn't think she was in any pain or distress when she passed, which is how I think all of us would want to move on.
I will spend the day quietly, napping and giving Momma headbutts and purrs before she gives me my nom noms.

We hope Love and Beauty and Sweetness will be a part of all of your lives

Gentle Hugs and Purrs

In Memory of an Angel Baby

She was a tiny baby, only around four months. Please keep her heartbroken family in your thoughts, prayers, or petitions. Maybe you could wear the colour violet this weekend or use it in your blog.
Blessings and Love to You All
