Someone Saved My Life Tonight

Cricket saved me.

Hi everyone. For most of this month I have been in a really bad RA flare up. The pain is constant. I went to my doctor last week and had x-rays to see how much joint damage has been done. The Methotrexate I have been on is just not working any more. I will be starting Enbrel along with a half dose of Methotrexate now. It's an injection once a week too.
My doctor called in a prescription for Vicoden for me because my pain was so unmanageable. Vicoden contains an opiate, which I discovered the hard way, I am allergic to.

I took a dose last Thursday so I could feel well enough to make dinner. At first I just felt a bit light headed, which was strange, but normal for that drug. I went upstairs just to lie down for a bit. By the time I reached my room I felt very, very sick to my stomach and the dizziness was overwhelming. I pretty much crashed on the bed and saw black.

Then I felt a rough tongue licking my hand. I opened my eyes to see Cricket staring at me. I closed my eyes as another wave of nausea and dizziness overcame me and the world went black again. But, once again I was roused by a persistantly rough tongue. I opened my eyes and she stopped licking and stared with what looked like concern into my eyes. Every time I closed my eyes Cricket would begin licking my hand and when I opened them she would stop and stare with those big green eyes searching my face. Finally, I was able to keep my eyes open and made myself sit up. I practically crawled off the bed and down the steps and Cricket followed me as if making sure I made it down. Then I was sick and barfing for most of the evening. If I had passed out I could have thrown up and well... choked on it. Plus my breathing had slowed down a bit as I hit the bed. She kept me awake.

Cricket saved me, I'm sure of it. She truly is a wonderful nurse kitty!

Now, I must deal with my pain with over the counter pain meds and hot baths and rest. I hope the Enbrel can start kicking the RA monster's butt soon. Until then, I am learning to take it easier on myself. No big dinners for the family every night, no obsessing over house cleaning.

My hands are throbbing and stiff and my left hip especially is so painfull. I'm tired of feeling so cruddy, but I'm so thankful for my kitties. Having pets really does make one feel better. They are funny, naughty, sweet, purring bundles of love. Never underestimate how much they are tuned into us.

Yes, this gives Cricket a free pass to basically get away with anything. :) Even my husband had to admit that she probably was concerned in her own weird way.

My daughter has made a full recovery and is now going to her college classes, complaining all the way. That's how I know she feels better. She hates adhering to a schedule. ;)

My husband's dad has now gone into Hospice. He is not doing well. He has fallen twice this past week and his heart is in "A Fib". We jump whenever the phone rings now, wondering if it's bad news about him.

I am trying to downplay how hurty I am so my husband doesn't feel any more stress. All in all, it's been a rough month. A long, cold month.

I miss visiting my bloggie friends so much! I haven't forgotten anybody okay?

My kitties and I send you love and purrs. I will try to visit when I get some free moments. I'm going to rest my hands for a bit now.

Yucky Week

Long Week

Hi everyone. I'm so sorry we haven't been visiting this week. It's been a rough one. We have been hit with quite a nasty snowstorm here. Frigid temps and blowing snow. The stupid man who owns Sylvester did not let him in! My husband actually put him in our PTU and carried him over there.
We gave them the chance to do the right thing and it didn't last long.
The next bitter cold morning he was out again and on our front porch.
I brought him in and my husband said he could stay in our enclosed back porch for a while. It's still really cold back there though and Sylvester got a bit wild and knocked shelves over and just generally cried the whole time.

My husband had to go wait for his dad's surgery to be completed at the hospital, so it was just me, my daughter, her boyfriend and five high strung cats. When my husband came home he was really sad and upset.
His dad has two kinds of cancer in his bladder. One is evil and spreading. His doctor said he has six months to a year left.
I also didn't have a chance to talk about his beloved Aunt Grace, (his dad's sister) who passed away last Saturday. My husband and I loved her because she was always so sweet and kind to everyone. She was 94 years old.

There's just so much going on, it's hard to put it all down. (sigh...)

Anyway, we can not keep Sylvester. My husband said absolutely not. He went back outside yesterday and seemed to be heading back to his house. He couldn't wait to get out of here, after crying and spraying and knocking things over. He's fixed, so the spraying was a surprise. I kept looking for him all evening and he never came back. Then this morning I saw him on the front porch! I went to get him some food, hoping to coax him back into the house so I could put him on the back porch again. (yes, I'm a glutton for punishment and my husband is at work) When I returned, Sylvester was gone. :(

I am just so sad and frustrated with everything right now. Why do people have to get cancer? Why can't people care for their pets? What is wrong with them!?

Sorry about the rant there... Anyway, I still have to get my cards to the post office. We have not done any Christmas shopping yet and I just want to stay in my pj's and visit blogs. But, I need to get dressed and try to shovel and maybe chase after a cat who doesn't understand that I just want to help him.
How do we get through to his owners? What should I do?
Now, I'm crying again...

Okay, things will get better. Cricket says they must and she is the Queen of everything. So I will go give her and my other kitties some nom noms, take a shower and get on with my day. I will try really hard to start visiting too.
Wish us luck.

Cricket, here; Don't worry, I will look after her. I won't even complain if she lets that Sylvester in again. He just better not eat all my Fancy Feast! I will try not to be very naughty either. (boy, that will be tough!)

Kitty Crush

Sylvestero and Crickiette

Sylvester is still coming by every day. His beans will not let him in, it seems and Momma feeds him and gives him scritchers and baby talk. She thinks that perhaps he has a crush on me because he makes a point of looking in the window when I am looking out. Notice that I do not look amused!
(Notice that Momma really needs to clean the window too!)

So far no one else has caught the flu and the Teenagergirl is getting better. Momma has had a nasty RA flare up and isn't sleeping really well, but for her this is becoming almost normal.

It has been rather mild and sunny here lately and it's nice to have that golden glow during the short daylight hours. Silly Momma has been getting into her pj's at around 7:00 pm almost every evening. Way to live it up Momma!

Well, not much else is new to report. We may put up our tree before Thanksgiving, just to cheer up the living room a bit. This time of year every little faerie light one can plug in helps chase away the dreariness.
We will get around to visiting all our blogging friends too, as that chases the blues too. We see Whickey visited us and that made Momma happy as she has been a bit worried about him and his siblings. Now, there's a handsome mancat!^..^

We hope you all have a great weekend!
Remember kitties; Be just a little bit naughty!

Cricket Here...

The flu is here.

Hi everyone, Cricket here. The teenagergirl has the flu. Momma is afraid it is the Really Bad One. She is very busy taking care of her and may not be able to get around to visiting all of our blogging friends.
We hope and purr that none of you get it!

Purrs,
Cricket~

News and Mews with Toeshee

Momma and the Daddyman went for a walk

It was kinda nice weather for the first day of November, so Momma and Daddyman let us kitties nap while they went for a walk around the neighborhood. Momma decided to take her camera, which usually she forgets.

She took pictures of gargoyles on the big high school nearby. The building is very old. I think they are a little bit scary! That school would be a good Hogwarts, wouldn't it?
On their way back they usually walk by this wooded area behind some big Victorian homes. Last year Momma saw a white cat in there and she still looks for her. But, this time they saw another kitty!
Momma said this kitty was as big as me! He posed for a couple of pictures before giving them the "tail" and walking away.

Now, it's cold again. Next week the Teenager girl is getting her tonsils out. I'm not sure what those are. Do kitties have tonsils? The Teenager girl gets sore throats every Autumn and they come and go all winter long. They are very big and she is tired of them.
She will get lots of ice cream. I wonder if I act really cute, if she will share.

How is your week going? Us kitties are napping and eating and sometimes Cricket and I will fight and run around like crazy, wild things. Billie and Cody just ignore us, but they are old.

Rumbly Purrs everyone!

Window Wars

Window Wars

Hi, it's me Miss Billie again with a some funny and silly things to report.

It was warmer this morning and I found a nice cool spot on the glass topped coffee table to rest. I then watched Cricket and Toeshee compete for the only window that opens easily in the living room. (Cody went upstairs to find a window because he does not like to fight.)

It's hard to say who won window wars. Cricket jumped in it first, but she didn't stay long. Then Toeshee hopped in, but he wanted Nom noms, so he left too. Doesn't he have big feet?

Cricket will say she won. She knows how to get her way with a hiss and a thwap. I will go along with that because us girls must stick together.

Now, all is quiet. Momma will do some visiting and try to figure out a way to avoid making dinner. (don't tell anyone, it's her secret with me. She hates making dinner!)

We hope you all have a happy last week of July.

Hugs and Purrs~

Ready For Their Close ups

Busy Weekend

My goodness, it's Tuesday already! Between helping my daughter get ready for Prom, helping my husband tame the jungle that is our yard and then having an upset tummy, I have had a not very relaxing long weekend.
But, seeing my daughter Sam and her boyfriend Kevin all dressed up, was so fun! They wanted pictures with and without their glasses. I think they are adorable either way. :) He is a very nice young man. He really likes Toeshee and is kind to all my kitties and is crazy for my daughter. He's very polite too.

I played with the zoom on my camera and got a nice close up of Toeshee. Look at his huge paws! I wonder if he is going to grow any more?

I am still a little queasy and my hips are really sore. I am going to try to visit and catch up with everyone as much as I can. I hope a happy week is had by all! (((Hugs)))

Chill Like A Cat

One Cat Just Leads To Another. ~ Ernest Hemingway

Cats Are Connoisseurs Of Comfort. ~ James Herriot

Now those men knew their cats! :) Cody, Billie, Toeshee and Cricket don't spend their days bustling about and worrying about getting things done. And though they don't always manage to get along, they don't waste their time holding grudges and constantly bickering. They have learned there must be some peace in this four kitty household. (maybe not all the time of course!)

I found this Faerie yesterday and imagined that she could be a special Kitty Tooth Faerie. Maybe she will come to visit Miss Peach! Perhaps she also attends to kitties that need to take medicines and shots. She calms them down and helps them rest. Isn't the little kitten with her cute?

I hope everyone can have a nice relaxing and fun weekend.

Cody Takes It Easy

Taking It Easy With Cody

Hey efurryone! Momma and I had a nice early spring day yesterday. The sunshine warmed up the afternoon nicely and I went outside with Momma and the Daddyman. She was feeling queasy from her RA monster medicine so she relaxed on the sunny front porch with me while the Daddyman raked out the flower bed. Momma wore a coat because she doesn't have long soft furs that soak in the sun like me. :) She had some gingerale and that really helped her tummy. She liked the bottle because it had a tiger on it. It had real bits of ginger floating in it and wasn't too sugary like some other gingerales. She let me sniff it, but I wasn't impressed. She doesn't know why it's called ginger beer, because there is no beer in it. Momma can't have stuff like that because of her medicines. (She's loopy enough anyway.)
Too bad they don't make catnip ale. Maybe someone should!
After our outdoor excursion I rested for the evening. It was my turn to snuggle with Lily the Bunny. Momma says soon the fairies will return to the garden to dance with the bunnies and fireflies at Twilight. She has a wild imagination doesn't she? To be honest, as a kitty who gets up to gaze out the windows I have seen some things... mysterious wonderful things that only a cat can see... ;)
Momma is looking for some cute Easter pictures to post and I suspect she will be pointing that flashy box at us again.
We hope you all have a sunny sweet Easter tomorrow!
Hugs!

Go Away Cold, Go Away!

Go Away Cold!

We are tired of shivering and looking out the window to see only endless white. I get the feeling from Cody sometimes that he thinks I can fix it somehow. He just gives me these looks like, "Momma, you make food appear and you clean the litterbox to make poo disappear, so why can't you make the cold go away?"
I think he misses the garden as much as I do.
The other kitties just sleep and eat to pass the time. Cody does that and shreds paper and roams the house like a caged tiger. That's what I get for letting him go out with me in the warmer months, but he just loves it! We adopted him from the "street." He was the neighborhood cat that everyone knew, but didn't want, except for me. I fed him and sweet talked him until one day he sauntered into the house and behaved like a perfect gentleman.
In the summertime he is so relaxed and happy and in the wintertime he's cranky and bored and depressed. Kind of like a lot of people huh? ;) See animals aren't so different from beans are they?
Well, I am going to finish up some chores so I can enjoy some free time later to visit some blogs. I wanted to last night, but my daughter wanted to go to the mall to look for a dress for the Sweetheart Swirl dance next month. So, we bundled up and headed out. We found a really pretty dress and it was marked down from $60.00 to $14.97!! Even if she never wears it again it was a deal we couldn't pass up. Now she says her next dress will be for prom! *o*
I don't think we'll find one for that price again.
I will see you soon! Hugs!

Once In A Blue Moon...

Once In A Blue Moon...

Here are two images we don't see often in our house; Cricket sharing a piece of furniture with another kitty and Toeshee calming down long enough to snuggle. Both of these event had to be photographed so we could remember them with fondness. I'm hopeful that as Toeshee gets older he will be cuddly more often. He's so soft and he has such a nice rumbly rich purr! I'm not sure what possessed Cricket to share the chair with Billie. I'm wondering if she is sensing that Billie is not feeling her best. I am a bit worried because Cricket seems to be very in tune with how others are feeling. As Tookie became worse Cricket would share the bed with her instead of leaving in a huff.
Billie seems about the same, pretty good appetite, normal fluid intake. She did brave the stairs last night to lay down next to me at bed time. She hardly ever does that. Maybe she was cold? My husband says, "don't look for trouble, she's fine for now." She seems ok today. I do tend to worry a lot. But, isn't that what we do with those we love?
I am behind on visiting blogs AGAIN! Where did the week go? That's what I get for getting caught up on house work and too much napping. I will try to get around as many as I can my friends. There are some I haven't visited in quite a while and yet they still pop over to say hi. I feel so bad! Please know I really do like you all very much! :)
Sending Hugs from me and my kitties.

New Year, Same Kitties

New Year, Same Kitties

Here is an example of a typical day here. Billie is being an angel as usual, snuggling in for a cozy nap. Meanwhile Cody and Toeshee are working on their wrestling moves. Toeshee starts it and Cody just has to much pride to walk away. We let them wrestle for a bit unless it looks like Toeshee is using too much tooth and claw and makes Cody growl and hiss or meow in pain. Sometimes it seems like Cody is having fun, but I don't think Toeshee has figured out that playing shouldn't include hurting the other kitty.
There's a 13 year age difference between the two of them too, so I don't want Cody to get too worked up. Poor old guy!
It's cold here and supposedly it's going to get really really cold later this week. 10 to 15 degrees for a "high" temperature with a low around 0 at night! One of our tv weathermen said that since November we have been cloudy over 90% of the time. Michigan is one of the cloudiest places in the world right now. Yuck! No wonder we are all so depressed! Whenever I go out to do some shopping, I notice no one is smiling. We all shuffle around in our big coats, looking tired and down. I think everyone should be allowed to buy one of those sunlight boxes and their health innsurance should cover the cost. I have read that light boxes really do help with winter SAD. Let's see, my countdown to spring... two more months? Hopefully we won't get snow in April, but I won't get my hopes up. My tulips will stubbornly bloom anyway. :)
I hope you are all warm and smiling. Hugs. :)

Growing Up!

Growing Up

Toeshee has not slept in the upstairs bathroom for two nights in a row! Remember we had to tuck him in up there at night so he wouldn't terrorize the other cats. Now, he is sleeping downstairs in the living room for half the night and on our bed with Cricket and Cody for the other half! And, he is being good! This is huge for us and him! I am so proud of him. Cody has helped in this new phase by figuring out that if he hides himself away to sleep in the evening Toeshee won't seek him out to rough house. It makes for a much calmer bedtime. He still will jump on Cody and bite when the mood strikes him, so I still have to keep an eye on them during the day. I wonder if the cold dark nights just have a sedating effect on the cats? I know they do with me.
I'm behind in visiting because I'm feeling a little under the weather. (RA flare and tummy troubles.) I will be playing catch up all week at this rate. I'm hoping after a hot bath and a hot cup of tea I will be feeling good enough to start blog visiting. I wonder if the low pressure system and really cold air set it off? Last winter was pretty rough too. Funny how easily I forget when it's nice and warm in the Summer. :)

My Kitties and I send You Hugs! (^;^)

All We Want To Do Is Sleep.

All We Want To Do Is Sleep

Billie is ready for a long nap with Princess Hunny Bunny Holiday. I wouldn't mind one either. It's nearly 6:00 pm and it's dark. We did our grocery shopping earlier today and that took far too long. Everyone has been grazing on leftovers, so I think I can get away without cooking dinner. :) Toeshee has been trying to eat his weight in turkey. I think that comes out to around 8lbs. *o*

My daughter is hinting that she would like to get out tonight to the bookstore. But, I'm so tired! We were out yesterday at the mall. It wasn't as fearfully busy as i thought it would be. Still, it wiped me out. Out among people again?
I think curling up with Billie would be nicer.
And, I'm so behind on visiting my bloggie friends! I think the holidays throw some people off when they are trying to find time for blogging. I will try to get caught up though.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. It's almost December, so I can officially count down to 4 months until Spring. :) My achy joints are counting down too. I can't wait to sit out in the warm sunshine and see my cute little plants beginning to sprout!

Hugs from me and my kitties! (^;^)

Through A Kitty's Eyes Of Love

~ A cat's eyes are windows enabling us to see into another world.~
Irish Legend

There is always a cozy spot to be found in this house if you are a kitty. Snacks to munch on, cool water to sip. A loving hand to pet and scritch, a soft voice to speak words of endearment and flattery.

Cricket gazes out the bay window and I wonder what she thinks and what she really sees.
It comforts me to know that she and my other kitties do not have worries or cares because I am here for them. Do they know that I need them as much as they need me? (Well, would a cat ever admit they really need anyone?) ;)

Sometimes people in my family tease me about my love for cats and my lack of "a life". I try not to let it bother me though. When one spends every day at home, in a certain level of physical discomfort and a little melancholy sometimes, you appreciate those who are truly there for you.

Right now Billie is next to me. I have a slight fever and I'm due for some pain reliever and a nap after I get some chores done. Between typing I am petting her and asking her what she wants for a snack. She purrs every time I touch her. See, she appreciates me too.

I will try to visit all of my nice bloggie friends as much as I can. I hope everyone has a relaxing weekend!

Come on Billie, let's get some nom noms! (^;^)

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered

This is Billie's costume for the Halloween Floof costume contest. Scotchy's Mommy, Kelly did the hat and wig on computer so I wouldn't have to annoy poor Billie with attempting to put anything on her.
I wish my kitties liked to wear "fashions" like Daisy. Her Mommie must have so much fun and Daisy really does look like she's enjoying it too!

I told Billie she looks like Samantha from my favorite old tv show Bewitched.
She just wanted to know if there were enough Party Mix Treats for Halloween. Yes, there are, but can all 4 kitties wait until tomorrow?

I'm trying to get a new spooky picture of Cricket, but so far all I get is pouting. I may have to bribe her. I think she's upset because my daughter's friends have been popping in all week for various Halloween activities. Last night they went to a zombie "zomb". They shot zombies with Nerf guns.
The night before the museum had a costume party swing dance and it was only $3.00 to get in. Tonight there is a zombie walk downtown. Whew! I wish I had the energy of a teenager. Tomorrow night is a dance at school. So, the kids will meet here and gather, and then leave for their fun. Cricket hates to have HER home invaded with people who are not HER family.

It is still rather chilly here. Brr! I have been battling flares and my joints hurt so much! I'm walking like a zombie! Last night was the second night in a row that I have had a fever. I don't have time for this! I have been managing to avoid making dinner, which is nice. (for me anyway) Frozen meals are so convenient. Husband grumbles, but hopefully he'll get over it. (that or dare I hope he will plan meals and go grocery shopping?) :)

Billie is still eating better. Not huge amounts, but she is tiny. Grooming her hip area is still a challenge, but I resorted to cutting out a knot a few days ago and she seemed to appreciate it. Her fur is soft and the dry air is making it staticky and fly away. The fatty tumor growth has not changed. (I hate the word tumor.) So, all in all she is hanging in there better than I had thought she would be a few weeks ago. I was really preparing for the worst and just so afraid... Thank You All for all of your Purrs and Prayers and Good Wishes.
All of that good energy going out worked and I hope it returns to You All in abundance!

I hope everyone is ready for Halloween! We have Hershey Bars, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, and Kit Kat Bars. What do you plan on passing out?

Hugs!

Hey, Momma, Turn On The Heat!

Well, it's the 1st of October and we are cold. Cricket is upstairs sleeping in the bed. Billie is trying to curl up on my lap as I type and Toeshee is actually resting. Cody is sleeping on the enclosed porch, avoiding Toeshee.

Nothing much is going on. I need to do some cleaning, :( figure out what to do for dinner, and pick up some things at the store. None of that sounds fun.
I want to turn on the furnace so my fingers can warm up and my joints can loosen up a bit. We are trying to put off turning on the heat to save some money, but I'm so uncomfortable! Maybe just for a little bit? Must be nice to be floofy, Billie. :)

My daughter has a sinus infection from her head cold. She's on an antibiotic and hopefully will feel better soon.

I hope to take some new pictures soon. It seems like the kitties are only acting silly or cute when my camera is unavailable. (stinkers!)

I'm thinking of buying something naughty to eat when I go to the store. I really want something sweet to have with a cup of tea. I have lost a little weight, so it's ok, right? Yup, I will turn on the heat, have something yummy with a cup of tea and think of it as a reward for cooking and cleaning. ;)
Of course, I can't do anything until Billie gets off of my lap. Um, Billie...
Never mind, she's snoring.
Have a Happy Day!

Manic Mancat In Training And Other Monday News

The thing about cats,
As you may find,
Is that no one knows
What they have in mind.
~John Ciardi

Toshee seems to have a split personality. He will be sweet and snuggly for a bit, then out of the blue his pupils will grow and he becomes a wild child, biting and attacking and running around the house. I love him, but he's exhausting!

The weekend was quiet. My daughter still has a cough from her cold, so I think she will be seeing the doctor. She's tired from coughing so much and she didn't want to get up for school this morning. So, when the office opens I will try to get her in.

I found a new cat treat that I think Billie can tolerate in moderation. They are called Party Mix. They have rice gluten which I think is easier to digest. I still am careful with how much she gets now, but she seems very happy to have a special treat again. :)

Autumn is settling in here in Michigan now. It gets quite dark by 7:30 in the evening and it is supposed to be chilly and cloudy for most of the week. Not my favorite time of the year. Where did summer go? Oh, for just a few more warm sunny days! I promise not to take them for granted!

I hope the sun finds you this week. I will be visiting as many blogs as I can this week. Hopefully, it won't get too crazy, busy here!
Hugs<3

September Garden

While Cricket and the other kitties napped I went outside to see what was still blooming in the garden. All of my vibrant summer bloomers have faded away for the season, leaving mums and cool weather pansies to provide color for a few more weeks. We have lots of squirrels in our yard and they are pretty used to people. They love all of the trees that surround all of the old houses in the neighborhood.
The leaves are still quite green. It has been very warm for late September, but they will probably start to turn when it gets chillier next week. I'm not ready for chilly.
This weekend will probably be rather quiet. My husband has to work for a few hours tomorrow, but it would be nice to get out somewhere. I would like to get some tulip and hyacinth bulbs to put in the ground for next spring. You can never have enough pretty flowers to greet you after a long winter. It would be so nice to live in the south and garden all year long.
I hope to visit blogs throughout the weekend. Daisy has a new brother, Miss Peach and Mommy Karla should be returning from vacation and I'm sure there are far more interesting things going on than here. :) Actually, I will take boring over stress any day, so I won't complain. Quiet is nice. :)

I hope everyone has a really nice, un-stressful weekend!

Just Hangin' Around The House

It was all about hanging around the house today, just me and the kitties. My husband went back to work still convinced he was the first man ever to catch a cold. ;) My daughter went back yesterday. I didn't mind waiting on them, but after fetching medicines and making chicken noodle soup (yes, homemade) I'm a bit worn out.

Billie was good company while I cut coupons and started a grocery list. She had been washing her brisket, (I'm told that's the name for the chest area of an animal.) and she ruffled up all of the fur. I think she looks cute all disheveled and sleepy. I still need to take the comb to her tonight, but I need to wait until Toeshee calms down. His wildness makes her nervous and cranky, then, I get all scratched up.

Cody is just not liking Toeshee at all. I'm constantly breaking up fights between the two and Toeshee is always starting them. I thought hoohaectomies calmed cats down! The only peace Cody gets is when I put Toeshee in the upstairs bathroom for the night. How long will I have to do that? Sigh... Nothing is ever easy is it?

The kitty sitting on the chair is one of the rubber stamps I ordered. After I colored her and cut her out, I cut out a chair from a magazine and glued her to it. I put folded paper under her to add dimension and glued the chair to an old card I had saved. I did it the other day while the soup was simmering. Not a great work of art, but it was fun. I love rubber stamping. It's so relaxing and I don't need the dexterity that I needed and no longer have for cross stitching.

Well, I'm slowly catching up on my blog visiting and hope to say "Hi' to as many as I can this week. For now, I'm going to watch Ghost Hunters and then make lunches for tomorrow.
Hugs for now!
